Well, I have completed my first quarter of college at ITT. Got my report card yesturday, which was the first day of the 2nd quarter, and was happy to see I got an A in every class (the highest you can get). So as of right now, I have a 4.0 GPA on a 4 point scale.
Starting on June 11th and ending September 2, this will be my college schedule:
Monday 6:00 pm – 9:24 pm
Tuesday 6:00 pm – 10:20 pm
Friday 6:00 pm – 10:20 pm
Well, I got my schedule in the mail today. This one is a little more descriptive. This is how it looks now
Problem Solving – Monday 6-9:30pm
Introduction to Personal Computers – Thursday 6-10:20pm
Strategies for the Technical Professional – Friday 6-9:30pm
This is probably going to be the actual schedule. Classes start on March 12th.
I’ve really been neglecting my site the past couple months and not posting. I’m really hoping I become more motivated to post again. Anyways, to the point of this entry….
Today, well yesterday, I was officially accepted at ITT Technical Institute in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I will start classes there on March 12th. Well, that is when the semester starts, I don’t have a schedule yet, so my first class may not be on that exact date.
I will have three classes a week/semester that are four hours long each and worth 4 credit hours. I’m going for an Associates in Networking and should be done by March 2009, I hope
.
As of right now everything is already set and done except my schedule. I have already passed an entrance exam in which they told me I did very well. Scored 21 (of 26) on the test and only needed 13 out of. Financial aid and everything has also been setup. They are even going to help me find another job to get me out of Taco Bell. That would great if they could find me a nice good paying job, or at least something better than Taco Bell.
Well, wish me luck!!! Oh, and I promise it wont be long till my next entry.
So its June already. This year sure it going by fast. Lets see, I guess I am going to give an update of what has happened in the last month.
I finished my first year of college on May 9th. This means I only have 1 more year till my associates degree (I hope). I will, most likely, end up at another college next fall or whenever I finish my two year degree.
The job hunt is on again, and if you read my past blog entries you will see this is not an easy task for me. I’ve already applied at a few places but it appears I will have to go out again and apply. If you want to see just how bad my luck has been, search ‘job’ on the side search bar.
As for the Cubs, well, nevermind. I do not wish to go there.
I’ve started playing a game online, and it isn’t checkers!!! I’ve recently started playing and becoming addicted to a game called America’s Army. You can read a post about that a few back.
Other than that, not much happened in may.
My sister had her last day of school on tuesday this week and will graduate this friday. That will leave just my brother, who will be a senior next year, in school.
That should do the May Recap for 2006. I will most likely post on my site stats later today. I would now, but they haven’t been generated yet.
Happy June everyone, and try not to burn up in the summer heat.
