About the author.

Hello, my name is Jeremy Jefferson. I am currently a full-time student at ITT-Tech in Fort Wayne Indiana. I am 22 years old and live in Larwill, Indiana.

I graduated early from Whitko High School in 2005. In high school I was active in school publication. I worked on the yearbook all four years and also did the school website for a couple years.

Currently I am working towards a networking degree from ITT-Tech. My goal is to get a career in computer networking. Ideally I would love to get a job working as the IT administrator for a school.

I sold my books from last semester back to the college bookstore today. I paid over $400 for these books when I bought them and got a whole $86 when I sold them back. However they wouldn’t let me sell one of the books back so I’m trying to sell it on ebay which will be interesting since I’ve never sold anything on ebay.

Oh, and by the way, my Pell Grant paid that $400+ for the books so it doesn’t really bother me. I’ve still made a profit of $86 which I guess is better than nothing. The school will be sending me a check for around $600 within the next few weeks, so I guess it’s all good. ;-)

WOW, it’s finally 2006. I’ve decided to sum up the last year in my life in this entry. So, here it goes.

In January I started my last full month in high school. It was a very long month, obviously, waiting to reach the end of my high school days. Not that I didn’t enjoy high school, but I was very much looking forward to no school responsibilities for a while.

In February I finished high school, graduating three months early. My mom landed a job as Post Master at our local Post Office which she had worked as a PMR (Post Master Relief) for over a decade. This was a very exciting thing for her.

Feb. 22nd marked the one year point of me being an active user of an IRC network called DynastyNet (irc.dynastynet.net).

In March we, finally, upgraded our ISP from dialup to DSL.

In April I changed the name of my programming group from Karma Productions to JWJKP. JWJ stands for my initials, Jeremy Wayne Jefferson, and the KP stands for Karma Productions.

In May I started my first official website which ran on a local computer of mine. The server was slow, unknown, and really not even used.

June was one of the biggest months in detail. I attended my high School Commencement (Graduation) even though I’d been done with High School since February. On June 2nd I registered the domain JWJKP.com. I also had my first job in June.

My job was a temp job which lasted three days in Iowa. Yes, I live in Indiana. I went with my dad to Iowa who had to supervise the checking of bottles from his Plant. I used the money from this job to purchase a laptop for college which I started in August.

July 7th I purchased a hosting plan from DynastyNet, the IRC network I chat on. My site JWJKP.com moved onto this hosting plan which offered a much faster connection.

August I started college. This was a somewhat scary thing, yet very exciting at the same time. I quickly fell in love with college and really, I can’t believe I’m saying this, enjoyed getting an education.

September was my first full month of college, which went very nicely. Not much really happened this month. I did become co-admin of an online game called Tetrinet located at http://www.TetriNet-IRC.com/. I, for the most part maintain that site also.

October 5th I registered the domain jeremyjefferson.com. October 6th I put this site you are on now online. October 8th I turned 19 and started a poll to see how old people think I look. This poll closed January 1st, 2006 and you can view the results on the side bar.

November was boring.

In December I became a member of Helpcom on DynastyNet. You can view my bio there at http://www.dynastynet.net/staff.php?action=DrJ. I also completed my first full semester of College.

That’s a sum up of 2005 for me.
